Applied Technology – Flat WOOD Industrial Filter

The core of the system is the Flat WOOD filter unit, specially designed for dust extraction in operations with the presence of explosive dust. The filter features:

• Flat filter pockets with high dust separation efficiency

• Filter media regeneration using compressed air pulses, ensuring consistently low pressure drop and long filter life

• Wide spacing between filter elements, reducing the risk of clogging and ensuring smooth airflow

• Thermal insulation of the filter housing – ideal for environments with fluctuating air temperatures

• Design suitable for explosive dust extraction, in accordance with ATEX standards

Safety and Automated Operation

The system is engineered for maximum safety:

• Ductwork is equipped with B-Flap non-return dampers that prevent the propagation of pressure waves in case of an explosion in the duct

• Automatic extraction power control allows suction intensity to be adjusted to current operational needs—resulting in energy savings and higher extraction efficiency
